COVID Testing and Integrative Health
An unfortunate reality is that while we are fighting in the race against COVID as fast as we can, COVID is going to be around for a while. And while it is around, it is of tantamount importance for you and your loved ones to be safe. One way of doing this is to know for certain whether or not you’re carrying the virus around in your system — even if you feel fine. One of the more effective ways to find out is through a PCR test conducted in the safe environment of Pacific Bay Health.
While in pre-COVID times it probably would have seemed odd to go to an integrative health facility for a test to for a dangerous virus, nowadays it makes perfect sense to take a more holistic and integrative approach to your overall health, to ensure that you and your loved ones are as safe as circumstances allow you to be.

PCR, Blood Antibody, and Coming Soon, Rapid Viral Antigen Tests
At Pacific Bay Health, we are constantly keeping ourselves up to date in the latest health news and discoveries.
We will continue to seek ways to best meet the needs of our patients and our community during these uncertain times. We currently offer the following tests:
PCR – A PCR test is used to directly detect the presence of an antigen, rather than the presence of the body’s immune response (antibodies). A PCR test gives a good indication of whether or not a patient is infected with COVID-19.
Blood Antibody or COVID Antibody – A blood antibody test, often referred to these days as a COVID antibody test, is a blood test (also known as a kind of serology test) that looks for COVID antibodies in a patient’s blood.
Rapid Viral Antigen (RAT) – A rapid, or rapid antigen, test, is commonly used for the detection of the virus (SARS-CoV-2) that causes COVID-19, and offers results within approximately 5 to 30 minutes.
Please feel free to reach out to Pacific Bay Integrative Health Center today for any questions you have about where to get a COVID test and treatments, as well as for an array of integrative health services and therapies.
